Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 6, 2026

SnapID ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

SnapID processes photos on your device using Apple's Vision framework. When you use AI-powered features (AI Enhance, Clothing Change, or Refine), your photos are sent to third-party AI services (Google Gemini) for processing and may be stored on our servers to improve service quality.

2. How We Use Information

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Subscription processing is handled by Apple's App Store and Adapty (our subscription management provider).

4. Data Storage

Basic processed photos are stored locally on your device. When you use AI features, original and AI-generated photos are stored on our secure servers (hosted by Supabase in the EU) to improve the quality of our AI processing. We do not associate stored photos with your personal identity. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

5. Camera and Photo Library

SnapID requests access to your camera and photo library solely for the purpose of creating ID photos. These permissions can be revoked at any time in your device settings.

6. Children's Privacy

SnapID is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app and on this page.
